a few prayers that were written on the wall during our prayer night last semester:
Lord, make me an instrument of your PEACE.Where there is hatred, let me sow LOVE.Where there is injury, PARDON.Where there is doubt, FAITH.Where there is despair, HOPE.Where there is darkness, LIGHT.Where there is sadness, JOY.For it is in giving that we receive, and it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal LIFE! -Amen
My brother is going through a tough time.
God, you promise to give us wisdom if we seek it. I'm begging you for that, I'm pressing you for that promise.
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish us. 1 Peter 5:10
LORD you matter more than I know. I need you, love you and am scaredof you all at the same time. I don't know where to begin in your word, but I know I NEED you in my life and for my LIFE.
god why do you let such evil happen?! I can't understand it. Have youstand by while this is happening? where is your love? this has becomethe refrain of my soul in the last day. And I'm arrogant enough todemand an explanation from the God of the universe? why, God?
God, I've struggled with anxiety since I was seven. Give me peace,Lord. Your peace. Because I alone I'm not strong enough. Release me.
God will you please heal my friends that are hurting? I know you can... please bring them peace, surround them in your love. it's hardseeing them hurt.LORD I PRAISE YOU FOR YOUR GOODNESS! it never fails, never ceases to be true... despite all things. I lift up to you all of my struggles, burdens, & worries. I know, deep down, you are big enough to handle them all. I love you.
I pray that we stop for seeking the fountain of living water for broken cisterns that can hold no water... for the broken and hurting around the world who are crying out for justice and mercy, and how wehave not listened. Oh God open our ears, eyes, and our hearts that wemay hear, see, and understand you!
thank you Lord for your love, that motivates us to have compassion and mercy on others because you first had compassion and mercy on ourown broken lives.
I pray for healing, for safety, for comfort and that we may all seehow much we have to be thankful for during this holiday season.
Proverbs 16:9 " a man's heart guides his way, but the Lord directs steps."
I pray no one is paralyzed by fear. We can serve others knowing thatyou have served us through others like ourselves and your might.
Psalm 18:19 " he rescued me because he delighted in me." he rescues us because he likes in us. He rescues us because he takespleasure in us. He rescues us because he finds join us. He rescues usbecause he loves us. Let us find delight in him. Let us find ourpleasure in him. Let us find our joy in him. LET US LOVE HIM.
I obeyed ( and didn't want to). then disobeyed ( and you have mercy)I Remember.Forgive my disbelief, I rejoice in your "No" ( but I still question)Why?

Heal her mother, please God. I know you can...
God show me the way. let not my own desires stand in the way of thatwhich you have planned. Make me humble. Let me hear your voice. Guide me, for I am reaching out my life to you.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, I don't think enough for what you've given me, so here I'mthinking you for the fact that I'm alive and able to witness yourworks. forgive my complaining and my constant worry.
Jesus, Meet us where we are, for sometimes we cannot move forward without you.
Search me O God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my anxious thoughts. See if there be any wickedness in me, and guide me in your Everlasting Way. Psalm 139
